Our work

Porches we have actually done

Every photograph on this page is a display we designed, delivered and installed, taken on the day we finished it. No renderings, no stock photographs, nothing borrowed.

  • A weathered-cedar shopfront with pumpkins grouped on the steps and at both planters, in orange, cream and heirloom sage.
Around thirty pumpkins, worked as three groups rather than one pile: the steps, then a cluster at each planter so the display still reads from the far side of the street. Classic orange carries it, heirloom sage and a Porcelain Doll break it up.
  • A dark storefront with a long run of white and pale green pumpkins along the sidewalk, the doorway and the café tables.
The same size of display with every traditional orange taken out of it. White and sage against black brick, run the whole length of the frontage instead of stacked at the door — a palette chosen for the building rather than for the season.
  • A close view of a doorway cluster of heirloom pumpkins in white, blue-grey and green, with a tall striped swan gourd and ornamental grass.
The doorway of that same storefront, close up. Casper white, Blue Doll, Jarrahdale and a striped swan gourd for height, stacked in layers so no two sit at the same level.
  • Pumpkins and a straw bale banked against a brick wall and running the length of a walkway, in orange, white and heirloom green.
A commercial entry done the traditional way: a straw bale to get height against the brick, the big orange pumpkins at the door, and the run thinning out along the walk so it still looks composed from the parking lot.
