Privacy policy
Pumpkin'd is a small, family-run service. We collect only what we need to take a booking, install a pumpkin display and settle the balance, and we treat it the way we’d want ours treated.
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email, phone, the installation address, the display and installation week you chose, and anything you tell us about the porch, including a photograph of it if you send one. A porch photograph is used to plan your display and nothing else: it is never published, never used in our own photographs of finished work, and it is deleted with the rest of your booking. We use all of this to schedule and install your display and to send the emails the order needs: the confirmation, the balance request before your installation day, and the receipt after.
- Contact messages, what you send through the contact form, so we can reply.
- Payments: the deposit is taken at checkout and the balance is requested before your installation day. Both are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own systems, under Stripe’s privacy policy. Card numbers never touch our servers or this site; we see only that a payment succeeded, for how much, and against which order.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share your information with anyone.
- We don’t send marketing email, only order email.
- We don’t run advertising scripts, and nothing here follows you to other sites.
Who else sees it
- Stripe, to take the deposit and the balance.
- Our email provider, to deliver the confirmation, the balance request and the receipt.
- Our hosting and database provider, where this site and its order records run.
- Google Analytics, which counts visits to the public pages so we know which ones are worth keeping. It records the page, roughly where in the world you are and what kind of device you used. It is not given your name, your email, your address or your order: where a page address contains your order code, the code is stripped out before anything is sent, and the owner dashboard is not measured at all. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” or an ad blocker will stop it, and nothing on this site stops working if you do.
That is the whole list. Nobody else is sent your details, and nothing here is shared for advertising or sold to anyone.
Retention and questions
Order records are kept for bookkeeping and for the tax year they fall in. If you’d like the personal details on yours corrected or removed once the season is settled, email katelynspinozzi@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it. We will keep whatever the law requires us to keep and remove the rest.
